PARIS and DETROIT, March 6, 2003 - Twelve automotive suppliers were named winners of an Automotive News PACET 2003 Award at a ceremony held Sunday night at the Detroit Opera House in Detroit, Michigan. In addition, BMW, Nissan and Toyota were honored as winners of the Suppliers' Choice Awards.
The prestigious award is presented annually to companies that have demonstrated a commitment to value-driven innovation in product, technology, process and management practices. "Once again, the automotive supplier community continues to surprise us with the high level of creativity and skill in developing new solutions to problems," says Michael Wujciak, Vice President, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Global Automotive Leader. "These are the companies that are setting the standards for the rest of the industry."
